Ericeira, The Place To Surf In Portugal
If you love surfing or would like to try it, the Surf Berbere Portugal surf camp is the perfect place for you. We are right on the beach front, each morning you can peer out of the window to check the waves without even getting out of bed!
As you’d expect from Surf Berbere, we’d only choose a world class sport for our surf camp and Ericeira world-class. It is a stunning fishing and seaside resort town on the west coast of Portugal, just about 35 km north-west of Lisbon, getting to us is very easy as there are daily flights in to Lisbon airport.
The Surf Camp
Originally two traditional portuguese house, we have combined them to create the ultimate surf camp accommodation. The rooms are large and spacious and the terraces, living rooms and outdoor areas are equally generous.
We get fabulous weather from May all the way through to the end of October, so we tend to live out on the terraces enjoying the views over the valley back in to the mountains at the back, and the ocean out front. You can see that we have a pretty good bbq set up going for evening meals, and there is table tennis as well.

Perfect For Beginner & Pro Surfers
Ericeira is a world renowned surf destination thanks to it’s perfect mix of lush open beach breaks that are perfect for beginners and reef and point breaks, all within a 20 minute drive. For this reason we get people wanting to come out and surf with us year round, sadly we are only open during the Summer months, we head over to our Morocco surf camp for the Winter season.

The surf camp is situated to the right of Foz do Lizandro beach and is a 15-minute walk to the town centre. If you are flying in to Lisbon, please get in touch and let us know your flight information so we can organise your airport transfers.
