Quick Update On Taghazout Sickness & Sewage

After months of problems with the sewage network, we’re finally all clear!

The good news…. the sewage is now being pumped away to the treatment plant and the village has been sickness free since the start of May.

The bad news….. well there isn’t really any bad news, only we need to keep the pressure up on the authorities as the pumping station that they have installed is a temporary set up and they still need to build out the proper pumping station.

Not a great deal more to report on it other than to say we’ve got our fabulous village back and it’s better than ever before as the road works are all finished and the sewage works (that are visible for us) are all finished too.

There is talk of them doing a big walkway along the front at some point, but it’s still in the early planning stages so for the time being, enjoy a nice calm and sunny taghazout!

It’s great news, everyone that we know has taken the vaccine has not had any of the sick bugs whilst staying in Taghazout.
