Surf Berbere Surf Camp

Panoramas

Point & Beach Break

A nice beach break often overlooked for the more famous surf spots in the Taghazout area, but producing some good barrels and less crowded than some other breaks. When there is a huge swell rolling in, the sheltered breach break is a safe place for beginners to learn. There is a right hander point break at the end (again we can see it from the roof terrace at Surf Berbere).

The beach is a perfect place to learn from as there is a nice sandy bottom and very little current.

How To Get There From The Surf Camp

Well, the best way to get there is to paddle from the camp, the current takes you naturally to the Panoramas Point headland. If you want to walk you can just wander along the waterfront until you get to the Auberge then take a back alley until you get back to the water’s edge, and you can walk for a few minutes further until you reach the beach. Shouldn’t take more than ten mins to get to the beach carrying your board.
